In this, beef production systems can play an important role and help to improve soil health. Different ways exist to sequester more carbon (C) in the soil. A known practice, yet newly discovered in some regions, is agroforestry. In this webinar, we will talk about this practice and highlight some of the key issues for applying agroforestry. We will also look at a calculation tool (Cap2er) to calculate the carbon footprint and how C is included. We will end with an overview of rewarding schemes for C sequestration. Speakers:  Riet Desmet, ILVO - Introduction to carbon sequestration Paul Pardon, ILVO - Agroforestry Josselin Andurand, IDELE - Global environmental assessment and C-sequestration in CAP2ER Ennio Facq, ILVO - Reward schemes for C-sequestration REGISTER     Location BovINE BovINE Europe/Brussels public
